There have been dramatic changes in the way VVA1 exams may be booked.

As from the 1st 2004 exams must be pre booked by as much as 2 weeks. Exams are now issued by the SCC central computer and have been posted to us in the UK. These papers have to be sent to Regulators who have to return the exams to us.

This all takes time, and we have a maximum of 5 days to return the papers to Holland. We will continue to mark the exam papers and give results directly, the diploma number will be issued from Holland and we will receive this the day after the exam.

Diplomas will also be issued from Holland, but we will continue to issue Safety Passports.

We intend to book venues around the UK every Thursday at 14:00 hrs. We have to be specific on the day and time of examination.

The exam now has 40 questions with 3 posible answers; you are allowed 12 wrong answers. Exams are no longer scored, a pass is a pass.

Resits cannot be taken directly, so we suggest candidates study hard.

Induvidual companies may request an alternative day and time, this can be arranged but there will be a sur-charge for this.
